PaymentSuno FAQ

PaymentSuno turns your Android phone into a UPI soundbox. It listens for payment notifications from apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and your bank apps, and reads out every payment you receive — for example, “Payment received, ₹500”.

Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, major bank apps (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis and more) and other UPI apps. You can switch each source on or off under Settings › Payment Sources.

Make sure notification access is enabled for PaymentSuno and that the payment app is turned on under Payment Sources. Detection relies on the notification the payment app posts, so the app must be allowed to show notifications.

Check that the soundbox toggle is on and that your phone's media volume is turned up. You can use Play Test Sound on the Soundbox tab to check your setup.

Go to Settings › Sound Settings to choose the language, male or female voice, volume, speed, pitch and announcement style.

No. PaymentSuno only announces payments you receive. It never reads UPI PINs, OTPs, passwords or banking credentials, and never initiates, approves or modifies a payment.

This shouldn't normally happen — PaymentSuno filters duplicate notifications within a configurable window. If you see it repeatedly, please let us know.
